Your Key Responsibilities:
As the Deputy Head of eCommerce, you'll be responsible for driving the success of the company's eCommerce marketplace channels, with a specific focus on Amazon and other growing platforms. You’ll play a critical role in both strategy and day-to-day management, representing the Head of eCommerce when necessary.
Amazon Marketplace Leadership: Oversee the strategic development and optimization of the Amazon PAN-EU marketplace and other emerging platforms.
Campaign Excellence: Develop, implement, and analyze marketing measures, ensuring product listings, PPC campaigns, and promotions are optimized for maximum performance.
Data-Driven Decisions: Use analytics and reporting to inform business decisions and scale performance across various product categories.
Innovative Marketing: Research new advertising trends, platforms, and strategies, working with teams to develop creative, impactful marketing initiatives.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with supply chain, customer success, and claims management teams to ensure smooth operations and continued eCommerce growth.
CRM Management: Further develop the company’s CRM systems, loyalty programs, and newsletters to boost customer engagement and retention.
Strategic Leadership:
Team Leadership: Provide technical guidance to the eCommerce team, especially in Amazon-related strategies, ensuring alignment with overall business goals.
Performance Marketing Strategy: Collaborate with the Head of eCommerce to drive performance marketing initiatives across SEO, SEA, display, and paid social channels.
KPI Management: Analyze key performance indicators and collaborate on actionable insights that optimize and scale existing campaigns.
Integrated Marketing: Help integrate various marketing channels into a unified database to enable precise, target group-specific engagement.
What You’ll Bring:
Educational Background: A completed degree in marketing, business, communication, or a related field, ideally with a focus on eCommerce.
Marketplace Expertise: Several years of experience managing marketplaces, especially Amazon, with hands-on experience in PPC, product listings, and vendor/seller management.
Technical Skills: Expertise in Amazon Vendor & Seller, Google Marketing Platform, web analytics tools like Google Analytics, and eCommerce platforms (e.g., Magento, Shopify).
Analytical Mindset: Strong analytical skills, a keen eye for detail, and a high affinity for working with numbers and performance data.
Creativity: Confidence in content creation, with a flair for precise and creative expression in marketing materials.
Languages: Fluency in both written and spoken German and English.
Leadership Experience: Previous management or team leadership experience is highly desirable.
